Remembrance Day

On the 11/11/06 Australian’s have a remembrance day, to remember the Australian’s that went to war and fought for their country being Australia. Some people wear red poppies because when the soldiers died poppies started growing on the battle-field and they’re red, and just before one minutes silence they play the Last Post on the Bugle.     Hi Will,

    Nice to see that you remembered so much about the things we read in the “Expert Groups” activity from last Friday. I like the fact that you found the link to the Last Post too though you might like to try this link http://www.awm.gov.au/commemoration/last_post.htm which is an Aussie link :).
